Customer Care Manager (m/f) – Europe

based in Turin/Italy

 

 

 

The Customer Care Manager is responsible for driving Topcon Agriculture’s customer support integration initiative and providing ongoing leadership to Topcon Agriculture’s European customer care staff.  This position will plan, co-ordinate and control the activities of the customer service teams in Europe to maintain and enhance customer relationships in order to support Topcon’s sales teams and their revenue growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the daily operations of the customer service staff in a number of Topcon Agriculture facilities throughout Europe. Plans, prioritizes and delegates work tasks to ensure proper functioning of the department.
  • Coordinates and drives Topcon’s “One face to the customer” strategy to integrate Topcon Agriculture’s customer service locations in Europe.  This includes structuring ERP systems, implementing pricing policies, developing internal and external communication, and providing guidance for customer-facing operational activities
  • Interfaces with OEM customers, distributors and dealers in Europe to provide excellent customer service.
  • Troubleshoots quality problems, customer complaints, and other non-conformances.
  • Develops and implements customer service policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with IT, Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, and other Topcon departments to ensure a coordinated approach to customers.
  • Identifies and implements strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
  • Oversees the achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards.

Qualifications

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field.
  • Profound knowledge of customer service and/or logistics experience as well as experience managing people.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
  • In-depth knowledge of customer service principles/practices, customer service software, databases and CRM tools.
  • Must be able to develop and manipulate data as required for reports, presentations, etc.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
