Overview

This position is responsible for the management of the sales and relationship with all construction customers in the defined territory.

Responsibilities

Core Job Duties:

  • to build the customer relationships within the territory in close collaboration with the interfaces        i. e. operations, technical and sales team;
  • to identify potential new clients and business opportunities and to persuade new customers to place business;
  • to coordinate all new orders, issues and returns with respect to the territory;
  • to study, understand and report market trends and how they affect the accounts;
  • to secure new business by providing solutions to new customer / product implementation;
  • to communicate with clientele about customer sales, issues or queries;
  • to distribute information to the departments and filter for management;
  • responsibility for the budget;

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

 

Education & Experience:

    • engineering, applied science, related degree in civil engineering or knowledge through work experience
  • experiences of road construction with good knowledge of the paving industry (concrete and asphalt)

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Commercial skills combined with technical knowledge
    • Passion for technical innovation
    • Ability of building trusted long term professional relationships
    • Knowledge of 3D or Survey products is an advantage
  • Independent, self-responsible and result-oriented approach and creativity to develop sales;

 

  • Ability to work in a team and organizing;
  • Good judgment and decision making skills;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Efficiently communicate both verbally and in written form;
  • Language skills: business fluent in Dutch, French and English;
  • Very good skills in MS-Office;
