Overview


Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) is a subsidiary of Topcon Positioning Systems Inc. (TPS). TPA develops and manufactures leading-edge satellite positioning and guidance systems, electronic controls, mapping, monitoring, and land leveling solutions for agriculture.  We are growing and we are looking for an experienced Channel Support Representative to support our Regional Sales Managers in providing technical information, product advice and quotations to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake administrative sales activities to ensure the accurate and efficient facilitation of sales ordering.
  • Create, maintain and communicate Price lists, Kit componentry and spare parts lists.
  • Ensure product information is collated, updated regularly and available centrally.
  • Monitor and coordinate all new releases (all products, parts, software etc).
  • Ensure Total Care website is updated regularly and accurate.
  • Collect and provide technical information and quotations for Regional Sales Managers.
  • Provide real-time support by helping RSM’s and dealers resolve sales related issues in a timely manner and maintain dealer database.
  • Research, construct and communicate product promotions and special offers.
  • Assist with any follow up emails / phone calls whilst RSM is travelling.
  • Compile internal / external product information and supply to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Assist with scheduling, organizing Dealer sales and support training in Topcon Products.
  • Assist in preparation and execution of annual stock take, change orders and part number requests as required.
  • Complete other sales administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail, customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, team player and ability to work without supervision.
  • Time management, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Strong Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
  • Ability to read schematics and hydraulic layouts.
  • Strong analytical skills, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience in a Sales or Customer Support environment.
  • Experience in agricultural machinery and applications (preferred).
