The company offers the largest selection of innovative precision GPS and GNSS systems, commercial lasers, optical instruments for surveying, civil engineering applications and machine control products.    Due to continued growth and new projects, we are currently seeking a Front-End Developer – React.js, JavaScript to join a team of dedicated Software Engineers in our modern office in South Brisbane.


Located central to cool cafes, restaurants and walking distance to trains, buses and CityCat, this role is for you.   With proficiency in React.js, your primary focus is to develop user interface components whilst ensuring these components and overall application is robust and easy to maintain.  You will be a mentor to your colleagues as you work on different layers of the infrastructure and provide high level commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and quality product. 


  • Design, develop and document user-facing applications. 
  • Develop and execute testing to prove the design/implementation meets requirements.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Maintain and support existing software on demand.
  • Liaise with external customer and/or engineering groups. 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Strong knowledge in modern JavaScript (ES2015+), CSS3 and HTML5. 
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. 
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Flux or preferably Redux. 
  • Familiarity with popular JavaScript libraries including Lodash and Bootstrap.
  • Experience testing and optimising React.js components. 
  • Experience with CSS3/SASS styling including responsive design.
  • Quality UX design with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (Go, Python) desirable.
