    The Traffic Specialist facilitates daily activities for (Import / Export) traffic department and provides administrative support for Import / Export activities.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • International document preparation for shipments
    • Scheduling and coordination of LTL inbound and outbound shipments, will call orders and specific customer routing
    • Appropriate interaction with freight company personnel
    • Compiling data, reporting and presenting.
    • Research problems to resolution and provide adequate feedback.
    • Assignments to special projects or tasks, as needed.
    • Training coordinator for the traffic Department.
    • Advanced user interface with SAP Shipping processes.
    • Managing Material Master, HTS, ECCN, and compliance related data.
    • HTS and Schedule B Classification.
    • Create and implement Department procedures.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • High School or Equivalent
    • 2+ Traffic, Import, Export experience

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point skills
    • SAP Advanced (IM and Warehouse) user skills
    • Follow written and verbal instructions in English
    • Ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, management and outside vendors
    • Willingness to learn and implement new processes, as they evolve
    • Good attendance and work ethic
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
