    Under direction of the Americas Aftermarket Sales Manager, works to improve market position and achieve financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization.


    • Prospect for potential new clients, identify the decision makers, and turn it into increased business.
    • Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographical area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
    • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging current network.
    • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders/principals.
    • Work with internal team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
    • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
    • Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new products, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
    • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
    • Take new clients completely through the on boarding process and work closely with account managers to ensure a seamless transition.  
    • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.



    Education & Experience:

    • BS in Agricultural Business, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent is preferred.
    • 3+ years experience in a sales or marketing capacity in the Ag Industry.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Openness to travel up to 75%.
    • Background in farming and precision ag with an interest in sales, marketing, and customer relations.
    • Ability to successfully work in a team.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
    • Sound business and financial acumen.
    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and procedures.
