    The Product Marketing Manager/Specialist (PMM) is a lead management position within the marketing team. They develop and manage the marketing content needs to fulfill Go-To-Market Plans and sustained marketing plans for their product segment. PMM take into account global conditions internal to Topcon and externally in the industry. The PMM is responsible for establishing and maintaining the plan to generate marketing content. The PMM will generate marketing content such as, promotional text, video technical directing, marketing support collateral and social media content. All of these activities tie to the marketing plan and go to market plan. The PMM must maintain an expert level of awareness with regard to technology within their market focus. PMM must be able to both explain, present and operate technology within their area of focus. They work with product management, professional services, BU Marketing, and marketing strategy managers to prepare marketing content. The PMM reports directly to the director of marketing.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities


     

    1. Develop the marketing content plan with the marketing strategy manager and the director of marketing.
    2. Develop and maintain marketing content deliverables for all products in their market segment.
    3. Review launch schedules continuously.
    4. Assist creative services with technical marketing content to generate print, video, web, and mobile applications.
    5. Communicate changes in the go to market plan based on dynamic changes internally and externally.
    6. Maintain a global awareness of product launch plans.
    7. Maintain an expert level skill set in the technology applicable to their industry focus.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum of 2 year in hardware and software of positioning industry products
    Excellent communication skills with peers and users
    Public speaking and presentation generation skills
    Global travel required, up to 25% of time
