    From breaking ground to final inspection, Topcon's leading-edge construction solutions give you the tools to be more efficient, improve your accuracy and better manage your data, machines, and crew.  Topcon's growing and adding another high level Account Manager - Strategic Partner that will focus on driving business within the top 100 construction companies in the eastern territory. 

     

    • The ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern territory working remotely.

    Responsibilities

    • Call on Executive with the top 100 construction companies in the eastern territory.
    • Grow business in core accounts selling Topcon products.
    • Understand how construction works and how money is made in the business to be able to sell the return on investment.
    • Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments
    • Identify strategic customers, develops and establishes productive, professional partnerships with key personnel
    • Coordinates the involvement of Topcon or Dealer personnel, including support, service and management resources to meet account objectives and customer expectations
    • Assists product engineering with qualified business partners to test new products
    • Creates, facilitates all training programs

     

     

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work remote
    • Comfortable with long sales cycle
    • Strong knowledge of Topcon product portfolio
    • Proven sales track record selling solutions based products to Executives
    • Proven skill and ability in problem solving and negotiation

    Candidate must have a clear understanding of the construction process including:

    • Heavy Site Grading
    • Highway construction
    • Paving Concrete & Asphalt
    • Design Software

     

    Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to travel
    • Ability to walk onto construction jobsites as needed


    Working Conditions:
    • 60-80% travel required
