     The Compliance Engineer will work with the development team to ensure that the new products will meet the necessary safety and regulatory standards for worldwide approval.



    • Intimate knowledge of Global standards for EMC performance: EU Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive  and EMC standards
    •  Experience with ESD, EMC and EMI testing (emissions & immunity) preferably on the design level. Ability to review designs and offer suggestions for improvements.
    •  Must have knowledge of local and international certification processes and must be able to interact with all certification authorities
    •  Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously to determine requirements and propose solutions
    •  Act as product liability expert regarding safety, standards, and compliance issues in the field
    •  Manage and track regulatory/compliance schedules to support global product releases
    •  Monitor and communicate changes in standards and processes to cross-functional teams
    •  Support implementation of regulatory directives as dictated by THQ and US government agencies
    •  Responsible for releasing product certificate of conformance in accordance with the EMC and R&TTE Directives
    •  Solid project management skills and ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects during development and production stages.
    • ASQ certification desired but not necessary.


    • B.S. degree in engineering, physical sciences or an equivalent technical discipline is required.
    • Minimum of 8+years of regulatory compliance experience in a testing lab or engineering project development environment with focus in EMC/RF, safety.
    • Should have excellent knowledge of international EMC standards pertaining to a broad range of electronic equipment, e.g. UL,FCC,  ETSI, Wi-Fi, BlueTooth..etc.
    • Familiar with design requirements associated with EMI/RFI regulations
    • Must have working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Must be able to write technical documents clearly and concisely.


    • Design experience in safety and certification is preferred
    • Coaching, directing, counseling junior engineers
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
    • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
