    Responsibilities

    • Understand and be knowledgeable about product highlights, special features, benefits and advantages over competitive products
    • Assist customers with the operation and troubleshooting of all Topcon Agriculture products via phone, email or in person
    • Provide customer installation support for both software and hardware
    • Some travel within the Amercias region required to promote products at customer events, visits, trade shows, attend trainings, meetings, etc.
    • Maintain technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing publications, etc.
    • Provide adhoc documentation and reporting as required by the support manager
    • Assist in developing technical training material such as instructor guides, student guides, labs and shop guides
    • Coordinate and execute proper equipment demonstrations which showcase and optimize the performance of the equipment and technology
    • Continual update course material as dictated by new and improved products
    • Assist sales and engineering with continuous improvement initiatives
    • Communicate any issue affecting our ability to deliver customer support to the support manager
    • Participate in the 24/7 phone support rotation

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years’ experience in support environment
    • 2+ years’ experience in agricultural environment
    • Technical qualification in agriculture, dairy science or equivalent
    • Degree in agricultural sciences discipline or equivalent experience
    • Advanced education degree preferred
    • Extensive industry experience to be considered in lieu of degree
    • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient computer skills in MS Office suite
    • Must be able to develop and manipulate data as required for reports, presentations, etc.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to perform under pressure within a team environment
